Beautiful.

She could stand in the rain for hours,
watching fragments from heaven fall,
mirroring
her shattered heart.

'Why are you crying?' the moon one night asked her.

And she looked into his soften light
and she told him,
that she had never been beautiful.

'Why do you think that?' he asked,
and she shook her little blonde head and said
no one had ever seen her,
she was invisible.

'You are not invisible', the moon said. 'You are like the stars beside me,
you shine for those who can't find there way home, and that is beautiful'.

She pointed at a falling star
and she said to him
'If I am a star, that is me'
and they watched the star disappear in the darkness.

The moon looked at her sad blue eyes and said quietly
'Then I will give you the strongest of all the stars'
and he took the brightest of them all
and placed it

deep inside her heart
